The Philippine Science High School – Main Campus (PSHS-MC) graciously welcomed students and teachers from the National Yilan Senior High School (YLSH) and Wu-Ling Senior High School (WLSH) in Taiwan through Synergy, an international exchange program led by the Philippine Science High School System (PSHSS) and in collaboration with the Main Campus (MC), Ilocos Region Campus (IRC), Cordillera Administrative Region Campus (CARC), and the Bicol Region Campus (BRC).

The visitors from YLSH and the students from PSHS-MC participated in various educational and cultural activities that enabled a meaningful exchange of heritage and bond between the two schools. For the MC leg of the exchange program, these included a campus tour, educational field trips, and friendly interactions with the PSHS-MC community. 

The YLSH students and teachers are currently in PSHS-BRC for the second leg of Synergy. Meanwhile, visitors from WLSH were also welcomed by PSHS-IRC and PSHS-CARC where they had their own schedule of cultural exchange and other educational activities.

Our distinguished guests from both YLSH and WLSH are set to complete the 10-day cultural exchange program as they return to PSHS-MC tomorrow, October 24 (T), for the Closing Ceremony.

 

The PSHS-Main Campus, serving as one of the lead organizers of Synergy, continues to lead and facilitate international exchange programs that are meant to provide diverse opportunities for its PSHS scholars to further develop their leadership skills, cultural awareness and appreciation, and global citizenship.
